A positive attitude is something we all like to have, so why do so many of us struggle to have a positive attitude? A positive attitude isn’t necessarily something that you are born with, it requires ongoing work & self-maintenance, and it is a skill that is to be learned over time.

What is an Attitude?

An attitude refers to a set of emotions, beliefs, and behaviors towards a particular object, person, thing, or event. Attitude is the way of the window with which we can see the whole world. Attitude decides which side of the coin we are going to focus on.

Positive attitude v/s Negative Attitude

Attitude is everything. A positive attitude means expecting good things. It is a mental outlook of optimism and of expecting good things to happen and acting in a positive way. Listen to positive affirmations daily: Create your positive affirmations, make them in the present tense for example I am confident, I am a public speaker, etc. start your day with positive affirmations, and in a few days you will feel the changes in your life
Spend time with yourself: It helps you to understand yourself in a better way and manage your thoughts and emotions. Wonder words: Use words wisely as they have a huge impact on how our attitude is shaped.

For Example. Say I can do it with the words I can’t, I am worthy to I am unworthy. Turn negative words into positive words.

Do things that make you happy and you enjoy them? Do things in life that make you happy let them do it without saying I can’t do this. Be happy with positive thoughts everything will be positive.

Creative Ways to keep a positive Attitude

Start a gratitude Journal: a gratitude journal is a great way to stay positive every day. Be retraining your mind to think about all the good things in life, you can develop a more positive outlook.

Start morning strong: think about some ways to make your morning better after opening your eyes in the morning like good affirmations, motivational videos, music, etc. When your morning is more productive and less rushed, you will be sure to head to work in higher spirits. Repeat every day.
